The Patio Jr
The Generation III Good One Patio Jr is the newest cooker in the The Good One’s product line. This smaller and more modestly priced model is great for someone who is new to BBQ and grilling or just doesn’t need that large of a cooker. The Good One has also equipped the Patio Jr with a reversible lid as a standard feature. The smoker box lid hinges on two bolts, which once those bolts are removed with little effort, just reverse the lid and put them back in. This is accomplished in very little time with minimal fuss.

Another feature certainly worth noting about The Good One Patio Jr is the high-temp powder-coat paint. Other than withstanding the scorching temperatures that the Patio Jr can put off, high-temp powder-coat paint provides protection, improves durability, and offers a nice clean finish.
Like the rest of The Good One line, the innovative design of this grill remains intact by placing charcoal and wood in a handy firebox with its own grill grate for direct grilling fish, burgers, or searing some fantastic steaks. The separate smoking chamber is located above and behind the firebox which is ideal for indirect cooking anything from ribs to brisket without the hot-spots commonly found on side-firebox smokers. How does the Good One avoid those hot-spots? An internal damper runs the entire length the grill so heat and smoke are distributed evenly from the firebox into the upper smoking chamber. The twist-style air intakes on the bottom of the firebox make temperature adjustments simple and repeatable. From low and slow smoking to high temperature grilling, this versatile cooker also has plenty of space to get any job done. The Patio Jr has 528sq in of total cooking area (264sq in of grilling area – 264sq in of smoking area). You can also add an optional second smoker grate for a total cooking area of 793sq in. Best of all, with the removable internal ash pan, cleanup is a breeze.
